I received my Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Drama from The Northwestern University of St. Paul in Roseville, Minnesota, and an M.F.A. in performance from Roosevelt University in Chicago. I’ve performed both professionally and in repertory on the stage, on television in drama and commercials, on film, in web serials, and on the streets of downtown Chicago. I’ve also been on the technical and production side of over 75 shows, not counting any of my work on major motion pictures, commercials, music videos, and trade shows. I’m actively involved in stunt choreography, producing for camera, and writing original plays. Most recently a Professor of Narrative Arts at Houston Christian University, I serve as the Marketing Director for the A.D. Players at the George Theater.
I may be a jack of all trades, but my passion lies in acting. I’ve done everything from Shaw to traditional Japanese Kabuki, but I usually gravitate toward the comedic because that’s who I naturally am. Do what you know, right? My education in Chicago was a combination of intense classroom work learning the various nuances of nearly every performance genre known to man and practical on-the-job training at various Chicago theatres performing in interactive and long-form improvised shows like Cast on a Hot Tin Roof, and Flanagan’s Wake.
Everything is a story. Narrative courses through everything we do, every interaction we have, and every part of life we live. If there’s any one thing I can guarantee it’s that I will help you find the narrative of your business, and then we can partner together to help you tell that story to the people you are best suited to serve.
